35 km Route: 10:30 a.m. start

• Designed for those with some cycling experience   

• Well suited for families with older children and riders who can bike at a leisurely pace for approximately two hours with a few rest breaks.
• Winds through Parksville and continues through to Qualicum Beach before returning to Parksville
• A few minor, short hills
• Two rest stations
• Suitable for all types of bicycles (there have been participants over 80 yrs. of age who have successfully completed this distance)
• Cyclists are expected to complete the route in 2 – 2 ½ hours
• Course marshalls will ride along with you to provide safety assistance and directional help.

All participants MUST check in with the Registration Desk, upon completion of the ride, to receive a food coupon ticket with which to get a drink and a hotdog at the Thrifty Food Trailer, a Bike For Your Life logo helmet decal and a water bottle.
